NEST MAGAZINE ISSUE 18: THE CLIMATE ISSUE

NEST is our University’s student publication and has been running since 2012, making this year the 10th anniversary. To celebrate, we created the biggest issue of NEST to date.
The issue is centred around the concept of climate. We thought that given everything going on in the world right now, focusing on the theme of climate is of paramount importance, whether that's exploring social, political or ecological climates. This issue of NEST and all that comes with it has kept sustainability at the heart of each decision, printing a little as possible, using recycled stock and ethically sourced materials.
Here are some sample spreads. The issue contains 39 artists over 116 pages, including 2 tip-ins and 7 interviews.

To celebrate the launch of this Issue, we held a Launch Party at Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen. There was an incredible live DJ set by fellow LAU student Zak Lebetkin (@strawberry_zakary), an exhibition of work featured in the magazine, as well as an opportunity to network with other creatives. It was a huge success and was a lovely way to round off this huge project.
